ABAB: Congratulations on your first year of blogging...My first visit and I have spent an hour or more reading every single post and have thoroughly enjoyed it all. I have a sister who lives in Brittany near Dinan, so, I read you site with particular interest. I came to your site via Leslie who has you down as one of her favourite blogs... I shall be back! (oops three dots...) I just love them!....Oh and exclamation marks too!!
I love them... but can't remember what they're called... some polysyllabic posh word that makes you look clever, if you can remember it... but you probably can't either, judging by previous posts, so it doesn't matter...
I've loved reading your blog since you started writing. Happy one year anniversary, you're a wonderful writer and I try to never miss one of your posts.
Yeah, what is it about blog writing that makes you do that three dots thing? Must be because it's trying to be like conversation, it's a sort of drawn breath, isn't it...
Happy bloggy birthday, I got here first! (I think.) I forgot my blog's 2nd one but I don't think it's offended.
thank you all for forgiving my elliptical(?) comments...and your kind encouragement. I expect I shall continue to whitter on whether I have anything to say or not.
Keep it up rosie, you have been doing such a good job. I too have been infected by the dreaded three dot syndrome. They are acceptable punctuation marks known as ellipsis... so I am not looking for a cure...
Congrats on the first year and looking forward to hearing about all your new adventures in year two. My blog habits include sentences without subjects and the over use of the dash. See what blogging does to us - bad grammatical habits and overuse of the computer!
Happy bloggy birthday. Just wanted to say...thanks to you...I am sailing through my TEFL course and looking forward to finding some work in the New Year. TTx
Congratulations on your one year anniversary. It's a lot of work for no money but strangely addictive isn't it? And that three dot thing seems to be a given for all bloggers.
I am an ex-Londoner living in rural Brittany, France, for the last 18 years, with my family and far too many animals and wood stoves: these ramblings, some of which are cross, are about life in the countryside, and how to cope when your high heels are replaced by clogs.

P.S. Leslie, as in The Pedalogue.
Di.
I always think of it as a pause to allow another into the conversation...
Happy blogversary!

Happy first blogiversary! I'm often guilty of The Three Dots too.
Ellipses.

I didn't realise it was only a year. Must have found you quite quickly. Glad I did :-)
Ah the dots and dashes! Yes, I too am terribly prone. Have been really trying to stop it lately, but I still have relapses.

Ah, we're in the same blog vintage then... Well, obviously, some of you are grands crus and some of us just slosh around... please keep blogging.
