From the sublime

Yes, here is a picture of me wearing heels (I am on the left with the swinging bottom!).

This was taken in 1983 in Belgium at a festival that several hundred thousand people attended.

And THIS was taken on the North coast of Brittany on Friday...

It was slightly less well attended, with a few more young children and people sleeping in comfy chairs...

But a few enthusiasts who bought Cds...like Angela here :

I looked about me, wondering why I still do this from time to time, and I saw him:

(Etienne the bass player)

and him:

(Yann the bar owner)

and realised that there are compensations.

And I saw him :

(Mysweet was in a tetchy mood due to a heavy head cold...)

But even he came up to me afterwards and said "That was great! This is what you do isn't it!"

I suppose it is, still...

As long as you still enjoy it, keep doing it.

I love this! I relate...I don't think I knew what "down-home" really was til I got to France.

Your body language says so much in the current photo - relaxed, confident, in command. Inspiring!

Rosie, how could you! after a day driving about to collect equipment, driving you to the gig, setting up your sound system, getting you a super sound, all with a stinking sinus headache. I wondered at the time why you asked me to pose for that photo! by the way, who's helping you next gig?

But My sweet, this was a tribute to your abilities to soldier on under adverse circumstances, and even to appreciate a concert.
You always look gorgeous to me, but I promise to put an even prettier picture of you on my next post, and maybe try to say something nice about woodstoves. It will be hard...(the woodstoves, I mean)

Here is where it goes. What a terrible picture of me! Ahh.
Anyway, I won't write it 3 times.
It's posted under the cleaning section.
But I still thought it was great!!
