Eat the daisies...before they take over the world

There I was in the hammock, taking a hard earned rest in a pair of shoes best kept in a dark cupboard, when I looked around me and they were everywhere.

So, of course, I had to stagger out of the comfortable hammock and photograph them, since they were obviously about to take over the universe by force of numbers alone...

But while I was out of the hammock, someone else decided to profit by my absence...

But it wasn't as easy to get into as they had thought ...

So, after biting the place where my bottom had been, in sheer frustration, they went and took it out on an innocent tree.

Laughing as I write! That is so typical of a dog! Love this post & the daisies are so sweet & humble.

Omigosh, that is too cute for words. I love it! What a great dog!

I love the daisies too. Do you remember Meg Ryan's line in "You've Got Mail?" She said, "I love daisies. Daisies are such a friend flower."

I like your daisies far more than I like our dandelions.

LOVE that the dog tried to get into the hammock!

Daisies are so gosh-darned cute. Did you make yourself a necklace?

meggie...it is certainly typical of my dog.
josie ,I rather like daisies, they require so little effort to produce
Mrs Chili, dandelions are pretty but much more annoying in the lawn
omykiss the hammock has withstood the weight of two teenagers already, so I think it could have coped..just
Ms Mac I didnt get the chance to make a necklace...the grim reaper and vicious pruner had his mower out in no time and they went the same afternoon...

Wow. You've got daisies? How cool would that be. We have dandelions. Although honestly, I don't mind them at all.

The picture of the dog and the hammock is a classic.

Daisies are sweet and your photos reminded me of a time when I was about 10 years old and a boy made a chain for me to put in my hair. *sigh* Now if only I could find such a man now! lol

i like the way that dog thinks.

leslie, i must admit that the men in my life have been remiss when it comes to daisy chains...
katydidnot, perhaps you are right and that dog does think after all...

As our yard only produces weeds and fungus, my children make me weed necklaces which are not the same as those lovely daises.

Rosie said...

hexe at least your children still make you necklaces, although I expect it takes some style to pull off a mushroom ensemble
