Here is an early visitor to the breakfast table. In the background, coming from the trees at the other end of the field, where the grounds of the chateau start, is the sound of a wood pecker. It is the loudest I have ever heard. It must be a king of its kind.
The rottweiler/pitbull had better watch out.
