Shakey steps from the sofa and back

This week has continued to be rather odd. The virus that I have been fighting turned the heat down to simmer for the first part of the week, so I carried on working as usual, and went to see Darling daughter give her first performance in a real concert hall on Thursday night.
I was a lot more nervous than she was.
They had technical problems but she didn't turn a hair. When a performer is relaxed and confident it is immediately obvious to the public and they were all with her from the start.
I was, of course, bursting with pride.
She was wearing one of my old stage outfits, my jewelry and her own boots.
And very much her own voice.

By Friday night I was feeling ill again and had to delay Saturday's jazz workshop.
Oh well, there are lots of good films on...

Ah there you are! Sounds like you still need a drop more chaise longue...

DD looks amazing, incredibly sophisticated, kind of retro and really immediate at the same time. I bet she sounded great too, congrats all round.

The Darling D looks utterly glam.

That virus is hanging on. Or perhaps you have caught one after another. I do hope you feel better soon.

Lucy..I'm fed up with the long chair and want fresh air. I'm hoping to put some sound extracts of her concert up soon...
20th cw...I cant believe I ever got into that frock. As for the viruses, I think they may be different. The symptoms are anyway. You dont really want to know what they are!
