Mrs Beetle's jazz band


Continuing on Cold Comfort lines, I am encouraging my offspring to form one of they'm jazz bands, and make us all lots of money.
With this in mind I took Darling d to a local jazz festival at Langourla so that she could finely hone her singing skills in improvisation at the end of the evening jam.
Unfortunately, they did not have a microphone or sound system at the jam, all was acoustic, and so we watched rather than participated. We still had fun though...


When we return tonight we shall be asking the musicians to play quietly so that we can do our stuff...

m-l darling d has helped no end with my month on my own...
L-we enjoy each other's company...sometimes
D- we didnt get the chance on sunday, there were too many stars at the jam
20- the pictures were from d's new telephone...it is much better than my old camera
j- I am also trying to lose weight, since the man who likes pigs trotters is away, and I thought I would eat more healthily. The trouble is that I follow the tofu with a large bowl of ice cream. I have GAINED a kilo!

Aww, what a lot of fun. When I start singing my children go a funn red colour and then run screaming from the area, throwing women and children behind them.

Ah Rosie, the reference to 'Cold Comfort Farm' rang deafening bells with me: hooray - another fan!
