At last.
Finished.
Performed.
Spoken to jury.
Written flowery French…
Relief.
The performance, at least, was good.
While I was talking to the jury, it became clearer to me what the training involved.
Not much singing.
But supervising workshops of mixed musical ability and multiple instruments, with the idea of doing a job doing the same thing eventually.
Not teaching singing.
Sigh…
Next!
If only I'd known...

Triumph and disappointment in one. But something of value carried away from it all.
Valuable, nonetheless.
Gosh, what a lot of effort. Amazing what you had to do just to be accepted for training. They might have said what it would actually be like. Well, I'm impressed, anyway. --Virginia
I would by no means call it a triumph Dick! But very useful Meggie. It has shown me what I need to work on, and since I am autodidact and therefore a curate's egg as far as they are concerned, I will have to design my own work program.
Virginia, it is possible that somewhere along the line the actual training itself was specified more clearly, but I might have missed it in the mist of flowery French.
And there I was, looking forward to joining the mainstream at last...never mind!
You never know quite what will come out any effort, do you? Sounds positive, and anyway we're all Very Impressed!
A learning experience? And who wants to be mainstream anyways?
Good to know now, rather than later.
Is there anything you can do with the flowery French????
